Find The Prince’s New Name on Amazon ! Long ago, before I ever met a transgender person, I thought that being transgender was weird and a little gross. I thought that, because that was what I had been taught by my parents and others, and also because I didn’t really understand what transgender was. One day I saw a talk show that featured a little girl who was transgender, and her mother. At first I was surprised that a child could be transgender. But as I watched the show and learned about the pain and confusion the little girl had been through before her parents accepted that she was transgender, I decided to change how I thought. Snowbaby Rocks!

I love to paint river rocks and hide them around the area. There are several Facebook groups of people who do this, and then post when they found a rock. Last night I had the idea to paint one of my book characters, Snowbaby, on a rock. I made a video of it! (You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/LfAVUG5v7xA ) I hid it on a hiking trail this morning My mom had a great idea. I’m going to paint more Snowbaby rocks and set them free in my community. I will ask people to either email me, or post on social media with the hashtag #snowbabyrocks. We’ll see how far Snowbaby can travel! The rocks aren’t painted yet, but hopefully this week I will get started. I can’t wait to see where Snowbaby goes! My first Snowbaby rock hidden in the forest!

Hi! My name is Angel Nicki Mann, and I write children’s books. (I’ve also written some for adults, but this site is mostly about the books for kids.) I have been struggling to find a web host where Icould easily make a website using my iPad. I had a Weebly site for a while, but I found it a little confusing to get everything the way I wanted it. So I decided to return to my roots! I’ve loved blogging since before blogging was cool. I’ve always had blogs on Blogger. So this is now my official “website!” Yea, it’s a blog, but you can also peruse the “pages” to see all of the information that was on my website, such as information about me and where to buy my books.
